LITTLE WING GUY'S PROFILE

I may have little wings, but I have a big dick heart.

Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

A forest isn't very fitting for this kind of puzzle, why not save it for a dungeon set in a cave or ruins?

How will we know which NPCs give sidequests and which don't? I think they should stand out in some way, like a faint exclaimation mark or indicator above their heads.

Awh, she just wants a hug...

Food? Does it indicate how far you can travel on the world map?

Hey, I like the battle background, much better than the swirly mess of crap we usually see. I don't know why the hero is on screen twice, is the first hero a battle animation? Anyway, get rid of the shadow and you're pretty much golden.

Keep working on it.

Looks fantastic, but remember it must be player friendly too. There's nothing wrong with two tile wide paths. =)

Also put blank events with the "disallow event overlay" checked in front of doors or dead ends. Stops NPCs from wondering in annoying places.

Depends on the overlay mate. You don't see much fog or bright lights in a room without windows. Remember what I said about overlays, they don't MAKE a map. This looks fine!

Your mapping is good, but the chipset is not. Whoever ripped this did a shoddy job.

I think this chipset is taken from Breath of Fire 2. You might be able to fix it up with rips from Spriters Resource.

Oh my goodness, I wasn't prepared for such a fit of laughter! Thank you for sharing that. Phewww!

RPG Maker 2003 not working on Windows 7

Also, I recommend that you right click the program file and make it compatible with Windows Service Pack 2. Then check off disablescalling on High DPI settings. This way Windows 7 will treat it like a weaker program. I ran into a lot of problems until I did this, mostly with map files not appearing in the project folder.
